Maniissh Aroraa


Maniissh was born and raised in a traditional Punjabi family, in Allahabad, a city located at the confluence (Sangam) of three rivers - Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. Soon after graduating from Allahabad University, he moved to Indore to pursue management studies.

In 2002, he began his corporate journey from Mumbai, and since last fifteen years, he had the opportunity to work with some of the exceptional global corporations. At present, he manages a leadership position with a leading Software organization.

Maniissh is an enthusiastic reader and love reading both fiction and non-fiction. His preferred authors are Dale Carnegie, Julia Cameron, Steven Pressfield, Robin Sharma, Louis Sachar, Agatha Christie and Stephen King.

Maniissh is a published Author. His short story titled ‘Purple Diary’ was chosen and published in a reputable transnational journal - Illuminati in December 2016. Maniissh is a weekend blogger, he spends his time writing about work-life balance, bringing meaning to life and being creative at work place.

His debut fiction ‘Sunshine Town’ is scheduled for a launch later this year. Additionally, he is working on a couple of other projects. Having been born and raised in a small city in north of India, he has a distinct interest in the people and culture of the region and his writing reflects the same.
